Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fernando Alfageme-Roldán

Academic dermatologist and Associate Professor in Hospital Puerta de Hiero in Madrid, Spain, where he is responsible for the Dermatological Ultrasound Unit. Dr Alfageme introduced the diagnostic technique of cutaneous ultrasound in Spain and is author of the first EFSUMB consensus on dermatologic ultrasound published in Ultraschall in der Medizin Journal in 2020. His research interest in the field of dermatologic ultrasound is demonstrated by the large number of publications he authored.
